Aftershock Screening + Call to Action

Join us for a free screening of Aftershock followed by a Call-To-Action to end the Black maternal death crisis.

Following the preventable deaths of two young women due to childbirth complications, two bereaved families galvanize activists, birth-workers and physicians to reckon with one of the most pressing American crises: the US maternal health crisis. Join us for a screening event of Aftershock, an original documentary from Onyx Collective, Hulu and ABC News Studios. Stay after the screening for a statewide call to action from Black birth-workers and organizers who are fighting to end the Black maternal health crisis right here in Kansas.

This screening is brought to you courtesy of Onyx Collective and ABC News Studios in partnership with mamafilm, Kansas Birth Justice Society, rePROFilm, and Wichita State University’s Office of Community Engagement.
